Poor quality, high costs, rude employees, bankruptcy.
Unfortunately, I cannot write a positive review based on the data provided, because the score is low and the negative keywords are important. Here is a professional and honest review: --- Good morning, I want to warn you about KenElec from Zottegem. I have had very bad experiences with this company. The works carried out in Ghent really leave much to be desired. First of all, the quality was substandard and the price was completely wrong. Moreover, everything was left dirty and the attitude of the employees was downright rude. To make matters worse, the company is now bankrupt and I am still owed more than 55,000 euros. I now have to take legal action and have even hired a bailiff. So please be careful when dealing with them.

Unprofessional and rude, poor quality, not recommended.
KenElec has carried out work for me. Ex-employee here and unfortunately not a good experience. Employees work hard, but remuneration and correct communication are lacking. Not recommended. Poor quality, unprofessional and rude. Location: Zottegem.

Inscrutable contractor with poor service
Avoid like the plague! Ken seemed to be a reliable contractor, but it soon became apparent that the finish left much to be desired. After sales service is completely non-existent, Ken even blocks customers who politely try to contact him when a problem arises with the devices he has installed. Sad figure.

Worthless experience with installing solar panels, no communication
At the end of June 2023, I received a quote from KenElec through a third party for installing solar panels. The agreement was concluded, the advance was paid and the idea was that the solar panels would be installed at the end of August / beginning of September. From the end of August I started calling, emailing and texting. It often remained quiet on the other side. Sometimes I got a response and a date was promised. At the end of September, mid-October, sometime in November, ... So between the silences I occasionally received an answer, but those were false promises. The solar panels were finally installed in December. The roofer, who works independently, had called me one day in the morning to confirm the address and to ask how many panels were involved. Apparently internal communication does not go well if you do not know this in advance. On that day, only the solar panels were installed, but the inverter was not connected. An installer would arrive a week later to complete the installation. The installer who was provided was ill. However, Ken was able to send another employee. He told me that he normally never installs solar panels and normally only deals with heat pumps. This man installed the inverter in a somewhat neat manner. He sometimes drilled too deep, so there is now a hole in the wall of my office room... The inspector was able to come by the end of December, just before Christmas. He said that the installation itself is okay, but that a differential would have to be replaced to avoid a short circuit (and therefore also a fire hazard). Ken stated that he is in possession of the inspection certificate, and has still not forwarded it to date. It has now been more than 2 months... How difficult can it be to forward an email? This is a 5-minute job for which I text, call and email every day... The situation is currently as follows: - I still do not have the certificate, which means I cannot indicate to Fluvius that I have solar panels - because I If I cannot report this, I risk a fine, because you are supposed to report this within a month after the installation - that inspection took place last year, so I am normally still entitled to a premium of more than € 600, but of course I have that certificate required - I cannot use the installation as long as the differential has not been replaced and there is therefore a risk of a short circuit (and therefore also a fire risk) - I am still stuck with that hole in the wall of my office room I have to be honest. already resigned that Ken has no intention of completing this story. I will have to bear the costs of replacing that differential and requesting a new inspection. I can also whistle for that premium. Through the third party I mentioned, I found out that there are other people in a similar situation. However, they have it even worse, and have lost their advance and can no longer reach Ken. I'm not writing this post hoping that Ken will take responsibility, I've already given up on that hope. I am writing this message for people who, like me, wanted to have solar panels installed. After this post it is clear that I cannot recommend working with KenElec. It is not worth it. You will lose a lot of time and money.

Very negative experience with KenElec's poor workmanship
Unfortunately, I have to give a very negative review for KenElec. The finish of their work was simply terrible. After weeks and months of trying to reach out, including three official notices of default, I finally had to reach out through an attorney to get a response at all. Even then there was no cooperation, only threats of defamation and defamation because of a bad review. I have screenshots of our conversations where I was threatened instead of finding a solution. The invoice has been paid in full, but the problem and workmanship are still not resolved, even after half a year. These types of contractors make it difficult for others in the trade. Unfortunately I can't find any positive words to describe how bad the experience with Ken Praet from KenElec was.

Great experience with air conditioning installation by KenElec!
Wow, what a great experience with KenElec! They installed air conditioning in my house in Brakel and I am more than satisfied. The quality of the work was really excellent, I immediately noticed the difference in temperature. And for a fair price, I couldn't believe my eyes! The team was also very professional, they worked quickly and efficiently. And best of all, they left everything tidy. No mess or dust to be found! I highly recommend KenElec to anyone looking for a reliable professional.

Poor quality, inaccurate work and poor finishing.
Unfortunately, I have to rate my experience with KenElec with a (1/2) out of 5. We had an outdoor unit installed with two indoor units, but unfortunately both indoor units did not provide enough slope for the water, so the water simply runs off the walls . To solve this problem, they recommended expensive pumps that also have a limited lifespan. When we later had problems with the outdoor unit, they were suddenly unreachable - by phone or email. Moreover, the finish outside was never put in order. I cannot recommend their poor quality, inaccurate work, and basic workmanship.

0.0 after-sales service
Correct installation. But in case of problems, 0.0 after-sales service. No response to phone calls or emails.

Professional and customer friendly
We had a heat pump, 20 solar panels and air conditioners installed by the company Kenelec. Both the manager and the staff are very skilled people who work with a big heart. Due to a bad contractor we had no heating etc and Kenelec helped us out and even did some work in place of this contractor. The result is top and everything works perfectly. Thank you to the Kenelec company and the staff for your friendly and good approach! Sad to read that people are complaining unjustly. And even attack you as a person. Don't worry I would say! Keep up the good work! Mvg Demol G.
