Unprofessional service and misleading TV specifications
I recently had a disappointing experience with Kestens HFK in Tienen after buying a TV there. When asked, I was assured that the model was identical to my previous TV, but unfortunately this turned out not to be the case. The specifications were incorrect, which was very misleading. When I suggested an upgrade to an 8K model and was even prepared to pay the price difference, this was refused. This rigid attitude and lack of willingness to solve the problem in an honest way, I found very disappointing. The communication was confusing and I got the impression that they were not really professional. Given my experience, I would not recommend this store.

Unfortunately, and to our surprise very bad service. Wrong parts were sold to us, after all, we have no knowledge of them ourselves, so we trust someone with "a lot of experience" ... When it turned out that these did not fit, we got our money's worth not even from back, despite standard stock items. We tried to explain the situation several times by telephone, but we were spoken to very unfriendly, later it was even imposed every time... We therefore feel totally cheated and apparently we are not the only ones when i google.

In August 2019, 4 radiators were replaced. Since then I have no heating in the bathroom. Responsible Gert Kestens has always tried to shift his responsibility onto me and our housing block and minimized the facts. Each time, another reason was sent that made no sense. Dozens of e-mails, text messages, a registered letter, etc. I have been without heating for 3 winters. Every time promises were made after which I heard nothing more. Finally called in the Justice of the Peace. During the 2nd appearance before the Justice of the Peace somewhere in November 2021, Gert Kestens suddenly decided that he would install an electric radiator and thus solve the problem. He wanted to charge me extra for this first. In the end he gave up and would replace the radiator at no extra cost. I already paid 4,200 euros for 4 working radiators. The new radiator would be delivered on 6/12/2021. Despite repeated contacts from my side, as always with no response from Kestens, I am still waiting for the placement. The placement of all radiators was done in an unsightly way with all kinds of crooked and very visible pipes that were not there before. A radiator of 1200 euros + VAT was dented in 3 places but I did not get a discount for this. I only see a summons as a solution in which I will ask for correct connections at their expense and compensation for 3 years of no heating in the bathroom.

The service is good quality, but the prices are exaggerated. We got an 80 euro bill for 10 minutes of work to change batteries on the heating stove, which could have been suggested via the phone call we made, when the problems occured. Next time, we're definitely looking for another provider!
