Bad experience with the purchase and maintenance of a pellet stove. About five years ago, we purchased a pellet stove from Marco. His son came by annually for maintenance, but unfortunately, the service was always very superficial. There were constant problems with the stove, and we were sent from pillar to post. Marco himself was almost impossible to reach during malfunctions, and we received no clear or lasting solutions. It later turned out that our stove's settings had been incorrect all along, which explained many of our problems. This was only rectified when we finally contacted another company, which did help us quickly and professionally. We are very disappointed with both the service and the maintenance and would not recommend this company.

He didn't honor the agreement. He sent us unskilled foreigners to install the work, who did a shoddy job (see photos). They left us with an unfinished job and the promise that they would come back to finish it.

Installation took two days. The base was first set in concrete, then stacked with iron feet, and finally, welded together. This was done after the demolition of the old fireplace and accessories, including the removal of the old wood-burning stove, etc., and the installation of a new fireplace/flexible top with a hat finish. There was a photo of the visible finish, but none of the insulation being applied around the flexible top. It's a shame there was any insulation present then. The fireplace was finished on the second day, see the photo. It was said to be ready for painting.

Unprofessional service and disappointing heater maintenance
I would like to express my disappointment about Marco Service BVBA in Brecht. Eight years ago we bought our pellet stove from them and trusted their maintenance. Despite the known incorrect connection, they always agreed to it. Now the mechanic suddenly refused the maintenance because the connection is incorrect, something that was already mentioned in previous years and for which we always signed a paper. Within a few hours of burning we are left with an unusable stove. The consistency and the service are downright unprofessional. After all those years of being a loyal customer, I feel completely let down. I really did not expect this and it is quite a disappointment to be confronted with such poor quality planning. Too bad it had to go this way.
