MURPROTEC recently carried out basement drainage for us in Sint-Niklaas, and our experience was unfortunately not very positive. Although the staff was friendly, there were several problems. The finish was rather basic and not what we expected. The communication was often confusing and led to misunderstandings about the progress of the works. The planning was also chaotic, which caused the project to suffer unexpected delays. The price also ended up being higher than initially agreed. For us, it was unfortunately not a recommendable experience.

We trusted MURPROTEC in Sint-Niklaas with our basement drainage, but to be honest, it was disappointing. It started with confusing communication about the price, which ultimately turned out not to be entirely correct. The planning was quite chaotic, which meant that the work took longer than expected. The finishing was unfortunately basic and could have been better. Despite the fact that the people were friendly, the whole experience disappointed us.

Wet wall is still wet after treatment by Murprotec. I was told that the wall would be guaranteed to be dry and that if after a year the wall was still damp (max 6%) they would continue to treat. Moisture was not measured during expert visit before treatment. Warranty 30 years. A year after the treatment, the wall was still just as wet as in the beginning, moisture meter indicated between 14 and 20 moisture. After a year, a Mutprotec inspector came to measure the moisture by drilling a hole in the wall and a measuring device to do meter indicated 4%. So according to Murprotec the wall was dry even though the wall was soaked. According to the inspector, the cause could be elsewhere. Since no measurement was taken in the beginning, it is likely that the wall inside has always been dry and that this expensive treatment was not necessary at all. This is pure rip off. !!
