Royal Toiture

Before my review, I should say I am not the one who hired them. It was our landlord but we, as renters, were the ones who suffered. Works started on 13th November and were supposed to end on 14th December but haven't ended yet! They had so many excuses: first the weather, although some rainy days they came to work and other sunny days they didn't show up at all. Then, the insulation was not delivered on time. Then, the “mishap” they had with the lift, where a neighbor intentionally cut a cord of the lift as revenge for the intense noise of the unsecured plastic sheets that kept the entire neighborhood awake for a whole weekend. Then, “the material was too special” so placement needed more time. We later learned that they didn't even respect the requirements of the co-owners because they put a thinner layer of insulation. Then, it was the winter holidays. Then, again the weather, which only seemed to be obstructing them from working, but not from leaving us with plastic covered windows throughout the holidays! With water, humidity and cold infiltrating the apartment and obstructing us from having any natural light or ventilating the apartment! They sent so many plans that were not followed, that at some point I felt stupid for believing them! One day they would smell a plan, then the next day they wouldn't show up at all. They were informed before the start that I was 9 months pregnant and not only did they leave us without a bedroom window for 2 ENTIRE WEEKS (instead of 2-3 days as they said) and made me sleep on the sofa (I repeat, 9 months pregnant!) but in the progress of the works they made the entire apartment uninhabitable by removing the rest of the windows and leaving the external side not well covered. This resulted in our living room flooding twice and many damages caused because of that. As a result, we had to seek refuge in friends houses and airbnbs WITH A NEWBORN, which is something I will never forgive. They literally ruined our apartment that we had worked so hard to prepare for our baby… Mid January we still have water leaking through a window and insulation fiber everywhere since they have not made any finishings on the inside. Today a huge black piece fell off the roof on our window making a loud noise and there is roof tile pieces falling inside! Mid-January we realized that they had confused the windows and put our neighbors'. So they had to remove it and put the correct one back. It literally took them MONTHS and still the windows are not sealed properly. Up until today we have cold seeing through. Not even to mention that they removed the window of our neighbor without even informing her. They literally violated her apartment and her privacy. The worst is that they NEVER offered ANY solution, although they were totally aware of our situation, and just kept saying things like “we do the maximum”, “courage” and “we understand” 😂. At some point we literally begged them to pity us and do something and thankfully one of their workers took pity on us and came to put some polyurethane foam to seal a bit better the windows, just before the holidays. There was so much miscommunication with the contractor that I can't even describe. The landlady had informed him I am pregnant, but I am 100% sure that he didn't care and never told his workers. I also suspect he never informed her that the windows needed to be taken down. Belgium is known for its bad weather so it surprises me that a company accepts such a job IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER and plans only 1 month to execute it! I cannot express the level of stress we have been through because of them, and the extra costs we had to pay to relocate and heat our apartment because of the delays. I would strongly recommend against them not only because of their quality of work, but also for their lack of compassion.

A fuir!! Un devis à été fait pour des travaux sur une façade ou 50% du prix a été donné comme acompte. C'est à dire plus de 9000€ A ce jour plus de nouvelles de ces personnes malgré les nombreux coups de fils et envois de courier! Escrocs!! Voleurs!!!

Prise de rendez-vous effectuée, le patron ne vient pas sur le lieu du rendez-vous, ne répond pas au message, aucune justification, aucune excuse, à fuir.

Merci de respecter les autocollants "no pub" sur les boîtes aux lettres. Personnellement quand une société ne sait déjà pas respecter une simple consigne comme celle là, je ne vois pas bien comment elle pourrait respecter d'autres engagements plus importants.... Sachez donc que ce type d'agissement ne vous est en aucun cas profitable que du contraire.

They worked on the roof of our neighbours, without sufficient protection. We had a lot of rubbish in our garden, but more importantly a roof tile fell from very high on our terrace. It could have killed one of our kids, but Royal Toiture just said that can happen. They promised two times to repair the damage on our terrace, but never came. A shame !!

Très bon service. Intervenu rapidement suite à une tempête, nouvelle toiture et enfin tranquille pour quelques longues années, en un mot merci !

Quelle réactivité! Un mail envoyé, un coup de fil dans la foulée suivi d'un rendez-vous. Je viens de recevoir le devis, au total 3 jours entre la prise de contact et le devis.
