Solar Sedum

Over two years ago, we had a green roof installed, both on the garage and on the roof of our house where the solar panels are located. The result was beautiful, and we were thrilled. Because we wanted the roof properly cared for, we opted for the most expensive maintenance contract, which, according to the description, includes: (basic contract €269, one maintenance service per year) inspection of the vegetation, removing leaves, removing weeds, cleaning the drain, checking the wiring of the solar panels (basic + regular €459, two maintenance services per year) cleaning the gravel path, cleaning the solar panels, applying sedum fertilizer (basic + regular + premium €599, two maintenance services per year) increasing biodiversity, taking a helicopter view with a drone: a video (in practice, these are just a few mediocre photos that I can also take with my phone), planting a "species of the year" that isn't included in the standard mix, and planting flower bulbs in the fall. However, the disappointment set in immediately after the first maintenance appointment. First maintenance: Two employees arrived and were done within half an hour. During that time, they drank coffee, used the drone, and walked around the roof. This is also captured on the cameras. My husband then went up onto the roof and spent an hour removing all the weeds. And by weeds, I don't mean a few small plants that are good for biodiversity, but serious growers like oak trees, dandelions, etc. Second maintenance: Exactly the same story. Done within half an hour, barely any work done again. My husband had to work hard again. I called for the third maintenance. I explained that I was tired of us paying €600 a year and still having to do all the work ourselves. On the phone, the employee immediately started talking about money and how it wasn't refundable. I interrupted her and told her it wasn't about the money at all, but about ensuring our roof was well-maintained. She promised to improve. Third maintenance: And this time, indeed, a big difference. They worked for over an hour and 45 minutes, and the roof looked absolutely fantastic. Fourth maintenance visit: Unfortunately, the same thing happened again, finished in half an hour. Most of the time was spent flying the drone, which ultimately resulted in terrible photos. Once again, it was a lot of work for us to get the roof clean and weed-free. I got very angry and called to cancel the maintenance contract, saying we didn't want to pay the remaining €300 for this shoddy maintenance. You can send us an invoice for whatever you deem appropriate, we'll pay it, but we'll write an honest review because people need to know—or you send us nothing and we'll do nothing." We then received a detailed email with an explanation, along with a price breakdown to justify the €300 excluding VAT per maintenance service: €100 for start-up and closing costs + travel time (charged to every customer, even if they combine multiple services in one day), €35 for mileage allowance, €15 for green roof material, €50 for half an hour of work on the roof, and the remainder: office costs and profit. According to this calculation, there's hardly any time to actually properly maintain the roof. This confirms our experience. With the regular maintenance package of €459 per year, you probably won't get much further than a cursory wave. Ultimately, they suggested we only pay €121 instead of the full €300. As we'd said: no problem, just send us an invoice. It's not about the price—if €600... If a year isn't enough, you ask for more. We simply want a well-maintained roof. What we won't accept, however, is an expensive contract that mainly consists of travel time, startup costs, and drone photos, while still requiring us to do most of the maintenance ourselves.

Vanuit onze VvE (70 eigenaren) bij Solar Serum aangeklopt voor een (erg) groot project van een groen dak i.c.m. zonnepanelen. Vanaf het begin op elk vlak zeer goede service ervaren; een bedrijf dat met ons meedenkt en vooral van veel klantvriendelijkheid en geduld getuigt. Door allerlei juridische en bureaucratische VvE-strubbelingen is het helaas nog niet tot realisatie gekomen. Desondanks is het juist fijn om in deze situatie een partij als Solar Sedum aan je zijde te hebben, die de situatie van onze VvE begrijpt, super flexibel is en altijd met je wil meedenken en aanpassen.

Van de jaren geleden geplaatste omvormer van de zonnepanelen moest een nieuw WiFi wachtwoord ingegeven worden. Van mijn type omvormer kan ik dat niet zelf. Solar Sedum heeft dit snel, professioneel en ook nog eens gratis voor mij gedaan. Gelukkig woon ik niet ver van Solar Sedum af. Top service erg blij mee.

Zeer tevreden over zowel het advies, de communicatie, en de (snelheid) van oplevering door Solar Sedum. Bewust gekozen voor deze partij. Het was wat duurder maar weegt op tegen de voordelen: top kwaliteit panelen, recyclebaar en met lange levensduur, sedum behouden, professionals die vanuit hun missie het werk doen. Dank!

Heel blij met ons sedum dak en zonnepanelen. Na een jaar zijn de planten al enorm gegroeid. De planten zijn prachtig, veel mooier dan sommige sedum daken die ik om me heen zie. Ik raad solar sedum iedereen aan, het is het meer dan waard. We merken na een jaar al dat het iets koeler is in huis. Ook de zonnepanelen zijn van goede kwaliteit, de service is goed en ze zijn klantvriendelijk.

Een bedrijf wat zowel zonnepanelen als een groen dak combineert en dat het groen ook onder de panelen doorloopt, wat voor mij doorslaggevend was. Het groen aanleggen gaat prima en ze werken netjes, alleen niet met de platen waar gaten inkomen, waardoor het niet genoeg water vasthoud. Het werkt met Ziezo solar samen welke met ZZP-ers werkt, dus de kwaliteit is beroert en de nazorg ook.

In mei heeft Solar Sedum zonnepanelen op onze woonark geïnstalleerd. Goede uitleg en verschillende offertes vooraf. Na akkoord zoals afgesproken binnen 6 weken geïnstalleerd. De monteurs waren communicatief, snel en hebben alles zeer netjes afgewerkt.
